APPLICATIONS:
The interconnection cable used in
photovoltaic power plants is
called solar cable, and
it links solar panels with other electrical parts of a
photovoltaic system.
According to BS50618 the
cables can be used with class II equipment.
CONSTRUCTION:
CONDUCTOR: Flexible Class 5 – IEC 60228 annealed copper that has been tinned.
STANDARDS : TUV 2 PFG 1169/08 and BS EN 50618.
INSULATION : 1.5KVDC Cross Linked (XLPO) to BS EN 50618.
VOLTAGE RATING: 1.5 kVDC .
SHEATH: Cross Linked to BS EN 50618:2014 (XLPO)..
OPERATING TEMP: -40° C to +120° C. .
SHEATH COLOUR: BLACK (Other Colour on request).

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Cross-linked polyethylene compound is referred to
as XLPO. It has
superb mechanical and
electrical properties.
The test for single insulated wire and
cable is IEC 60332-1.
The test technique and requirements are
